GoCricket features

What a free GoCricket account can do today, and which features belong to a paid plan.

Included on the free plan

Live scoring

Everything a scorer needs to run a match from a phone, tablet or laptop.

  • Ball-by-ball scoring

Record every delivery: runs, extras (wides, no-balls, byes, leg-byes), wickets and how the batter was out, with the match state updating after each ball.

Why it helps: Scorecards, run rates and stats are built from the actual deliveries rather than typed in afterwards.

Create an account to start scoring

  • Undo and corrections

Undo the last ball; the innings is rebuilt from the delivery log so totals always agree with what was recorded.

Why it helps: A mis-tap costs seconds, not a ruined scorecard.

  • Offline-first scoring

Balls are recorded on the device immediately and sync automatically when the connection returns, with an indicator showing anything still pending.

Why it helps: Patchy mobile data at the ground does not stop the match from being scored.

  • Configurable match rules

Choose overs per innings (including unlimited-overs matches), squad size and other match settings; powerplay overs can be entered manually.

Why it helps: Fits T20-style games, club formats and friendly matches. (Automatic powerplay calculation is a paid feature.)

  • Wagon wheel shot tagging

Optionally tag where each shot went as you score; the wagon wheel then appears on the match page.

Why it helps: Shows where a batter scored, without needing separate tracking software.

Match management

Set up matches and keep them organised.

  • Match creation and scheduling

Create a match between two teams, pick the squads, set the format and venue, and schedule it.

Why it helps: Every match has one page that holds its scorecard, commentary and result.

  • Automatic results

When an innings or match completes, the result is worked out from the scored data.

Why it helps: Standings and stats update from the result without manual entry.

  • Live video, recording and replay

The scorer or organiser can start a live video broadcast for a match, record it, and share clips and highlights afterwards.

Why it helps: Players and fans who cannot be at the ground can watch.

  • Camera Station (local)

Add phones as cameras, preview them on one screen and record locally. Up to 3 Camera Stations per match on the free plan.

Why it helps: A multi-camera setup using devices you already own. (Sending the program feed to OBS is a paid feature.)

Scorecards and match centre

Public pages anyone can open without an account.

  • Live scores and full scorecards

Follow a live match and read complete batting and bowling scorecards, fall of wickets and the result.

  • Ball-by-ball commentary

Read the delivery log for a match as commentary.

Why it helps: Catch up on what happened over by over.

  • Win-probability for chases

In a limited-overs chase, see an estimate of the chasing side’s chances as the innings progresses.

Why it helps: A quick read on how close a chase is. It is an estimate only.

  • Share links

Share or copy the link to any match, team, player or tournament page.

Why it helps: Spread scores on WhatsApp, social media or a team group chat.
